What is Ozone ?

• Ozone is a special, very active form of oxygen.
  When free in nature, Oxygen - O2 - is formed by only two atoms, while Ozone - O3 - is formed by three atoms.

• At room temperature, ozone is an invisible gas, with a peculiar smell.

• Due to its chemical properties, ozone can also be used for disinfection of potable water.
